    Questions

    Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Resizing and compression happen in your browser, on your own device. Close the tab and everything is gone.

    Which preset should I pick?

Use Hero banner for full-width pictures at the top of a page, Content for photos inside a page, Thumbnail for small cards, Social card for share images and Square for profile pictures and product tiles.

Should I choose WebP or JPEG?

WebP is usually smaller at the same quality and works in all current browsers. Choose JPEG when the file must open anywhere, such as in an email attachment.

Will it make small pictures bigger?

Never. A picture smaller than the preset keeps its own size. If a result is larger than the original, the card says so, because the original was already well compressed.

    Is there a zip file?

No. Every image has its own download link, and the main button starts one download per file, so there is nothing to unpack.

What happens to camera and location details?

The resized copies are drawn fresh, so camera settings and location details in the original are left out.
