          Six rules

          1. Lowercase only.
          2. Hyphens instead of spaces: black-friday, not Black Friday.
          3. Add the year to anything seasonal.
          4. One spelling per name. Write it down once, reuse it every time.
          5. Tag links you share elsewhere. Leave links inside your own site alone.
          6. Test the tagged link yourself before it goes out.

Prints on one page, black on white.

          How it works

          1. Choose where the link will sit. A preset fills in source, medium and campaign for the most common places. Change any of them.
          2. Paste the page you want people to land on. The builder checks for https and spaces, keeps any settings already in the address and puts the tags in the right order.
          3. Copy it, save it, use it. Paste the link into your email, bio, post or QR code. Your visitor reports will show each name you chose.

          Why names matter

A report can only group what is spelled the same. Instagram, instagram and insta show up as three separate rows, so a month of posts looks like three small results instead of one clear one. The builder writes everything in lowercase with hyphens, shows you what it changed and points out names that look different from ones you already saved.

          Questions

What does a tagged link do?

It adds labels to the end of a web address. The page looks the same, but when someone clicks, your visitor reports can show which message, post or poster sent them.

Do I need to fill in all five parts?

No. Source, medium and campaign are enough. Term and content are optional and help when you test two buttons, two images or two keywords against each other.

What if my address already has a question mark?

Settings already in the address stay where they are. The builder adds the tags after them and keeps any #section at the very end, so the link still opens the right place.

Where are my saved links kept?

Only in this browser, on this device. Export the list as a CSV file to keep a copy or open it on another computer. Clearing your browser data also clears the list.

Should I tag links between pages on my own website?

No. Tag the links you share somewhere else, such as an email, a profile or a poster. Tagging a link inside your own site can overwrite where the visit really came from.
